evaluation of the final product

How well dose it meet our original idea?
I think the final product met our original idea quite well but we had the impression it would be more like a magazine then a newspaper. Didn't have as many articles in as we originally planned as adverts and other content took up a few pages. Personally thought the layout could be better and a lot more colorful.

How pleased am I with my contribution?
I'm not to pleased with my contribution as I felt I was excluded alot and that people didn't always take in my or others opinion. I think I could of done more to get myself and my team involved in group dissensions and contribute to the layout design and logo design for the newspaper
How effectively did I work as Team Leader and how my team mates worked in there roles? I think I was a good team leader as I keep my team on track most of the time but my team did go of track at time and I had to talk to them and keep an eye for them to make sure they keep on track. I also made a presence in team leader meeting with the quality control and other people in other teams.

What could I lern from this expirence? What have I lern't from previous expirence? I lern't how to be a learder and how to control people around you when you are the person to tell people what they have to do and when they to finish it. It helped me become more of an idependent person as ive usally been the one to take orders. I lern't past to work to deadline and this was not much of a changed but just a diffrent prosess.

Ive been absent for the past 3 days and come back to find that my class have completes the layout of the magazine and have made a template for us covert our raw text in the the article layout and make all the ajustments. also got more client feedback they've asked me to work more on what music vidoes have done in the modern and online age. but as the magazine is now tight for space everyone has to keep there work under a page and my article would go closer to 3 pages if I add eveything I had to aswell as pictures so Ive desided to move mine onto the website to be read by anyone who might be intrested to read up more.

again I was unable to get my feedback but asked someone else to quickly read my article for any ansual mistakes and things I could improve. my spelling and grammer was not the best so I made as many changes to that as I could and researched more on metirals that I could put into my article. I found few more sites talking about music video influences and how they have changed over the years. also found some of the earliest music videos which were just live performances

In todays lesson we were still working on our articles and starting to find pictures we could use to decarate our article I looked at pictures of iconic music videos like thiller and pictures of pogo. unfortunatly I was absent on the 17th so I didn't get my feedback which dave took to look after but wasn't present today so I didn't have any direction on what I had to improve on my work. But I made sure everyone else that was present got on with there articles and make the improvments that are needed

17/3/10 prgress

today I monitered my team as they made improvments to there articles and hayden worked on the layout of the magazine by produsing a draft mock-up I then had to look at other peoples article and see what was good and what was not. I got tara and matts even thought there idea was good it got bit boring and had minor spelling mistakes. At the end of the lesson we gave our improved article so someone else in the class fro them to look at and make notes on spelling and grammer and and improvments they might need to make.

today got my feedback. they said that my article idea is good back I have to work more on the mash up video and to add more to the history of music video as aprently I started to get vage near the end. So I started to make improvments to the article and started researching more on pogo and interviews with him. I also looked more in to the time line of music videos and OK Gos video 'this to shall pass'

Today we were souposes to get feedback on our first draft. but feedback wasn't able to get back to us today. So we worked on peoples layouts and what was going to go in the magazine. We were slow to work but we got as much as we could done by the end of the lesson. tomorow I hope to get the feedback and get started on with making the improvments.
